Who needs Africa when we have Werribee, the place used to smell like sewage, but now it is all beautified and dignified.

Lovely pictures Giraffes always look elegant
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!from London
They're beautiful! I've never seen so many sitting down before! Maybe its because I've only seen them in Africa and if they sat down for a bit they might get chomped by a lion! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy WW! from the Sunny Coast, QLD
Gorgeous photos - I've been meaning to take Miss A there. Will have to do that soon; she'd love it!
ReplyDeleteI love Giraffe's! They're such a beautiful animal.
ReplyDeleteI missed the writing to begin with and wondered if it was Werribee. Love that zoo, and how at the Mansion there was a sculpture that was a photo fram that looked out over the zoo, so it looked like a framed picture of the animals on the plain :)
ReplyDeleteWe went to Mlebourne Zoo for our photo this week :)
BTW, linky seems to be only working when you enter your link, and from a separate page, and I love the new look, very fresh :)

I've always thought giraffes were weird; there's something absurd about them and their long necks, and quite wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGiraffes are so cool :) When Annie was a baby we went with a Giraffe them for her toys and the few decorations we had :)
ReplyDeleteI was looking at some giraffe photos for today! BUt I chose a brolga from the same zoo trip.
ReplyDeleteWhat glorious creatures. Great capture!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous animals they are so graceful :-)
ReplyDeletei never got to Werribee in the 10 yrs I lived in Melb. I love Giraffe though, they are so unusual.
ReplyDeleteNice pic, I seen some giraffes in a zoo here in London a few months ago and they looked so unhappy. I think they would rather be taking their chances with the lions in the real jungle!
ReplyDeleteOh how lovely! I have never in all my days seen giraffes sitting and I have seen them countless times in parks in South Africa.
ReplyDeleteSuch majestic animals, thanks for sharing these photos with me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to clean up a smelly place. they are so close! I love the second shot, it looks as if your daughter called out to them & they turned to answer & say hello :)

Is that a park or a zoo? Love the Giraffes. They look so pristine.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the remodeled location is enjoyed by visitor and occupants. I'm glad to see the giraffes have a huge place to wander.
ReplyDeleteLucky you!
