Who needs Africa when we have Werribee, the place used to smell like sewage, but now it is all beautified and dignified.

  2. They're beautiful! I've never seen so many sitting down before! Maybe its because I've only seen them in Africa and if they sat down for a bit they might get chomped by a lion! :)

  5. I missed the writing to begin with and wondered if it was Werribee. Love that zoo, and how at the Mansion there was a sculpture that was a photo fram that looked out over the zoo, so it looked like a framed picture of the animals on the plain :)

We went to Mlebourne Zoo for our photo this week :)

  9. I've always thought giraffes were weird; there's something absurd about them and their long necks, and quite wonderful.

  16. Nice pic, I seen some giraffes in a zoo here in London a few months ago and they looked so unhappy. I think they would rather be taking their chances with the lions in the real jungle!

  19. What a wonderful way to clean up a smelly place. they are so close! I love the second shot, it looks as if your daughter called out to them & they turned to answer & say hello :)
