Not all about me

There are times when you just can't do everything on your own.

I can't get to see every show and I can't try every new type of chocolate.

But together we can all enjoy some new stuff.

Stomp just keeps on returning and playing all over the world because people love it. I can't make it to the show so Mr H and Popps are going ON. A. SCHOOL. NIGHT to see it together.

Popps attends tap dancing classes and loves heading to any live show when she finds out about this adventure she is going to be thrilled. I may use it as a good behaviour bribe for at least a week.

But I still have another double pass - who wants it?

The double pass (valued at $158) is for someone who is available to see STOMP on Tuesday August 20 at 8pm.

Stomp will be playing for eight shows only from 20 -25 August at the Comedy Theatre.

If a Melbourne show is not something you can say yes to, maybe chocolate is.

In the interests of all things joyful and saying yes more often, I requested not just a block of chocolate but FIFTY blocks of chocolate to giveaway from the team at Joyville!

I think that needs red writing.

Have you seen the new chocolate from Cadbury?

There are new sized blocks and new flavours out right now.

I didn't really like the Banana Candy and Peanut Drops block that we had, and I have not tried the other flavours available but I took a block to share with other parents at my parents and friends meeting at school and we all got excited talking about chocolate. Who likes which flavour best  (clinkers was a hit) and what did we think of the new wonky layout of the chocolate blocks. For me they don't break nicely and they are uneven shapes - this can make the kids fight over who gets the biggest piece. But the easy open package was a hit for when you are sharing a block of chocolate with a group.

However if you have a favourite you need to vote for it because Cadbury will not be keeping them all. The website is really fun - if you are a geeky lover of web design you will like it even more.

Five of you will receive a fabulous package with TEN blocks of chocolate from Cadbury to try. Ten blocks is a lot, so I want to know how you are going to share them.

Here is the dealio

If you want to win a double pass to see STOMP - leave a comment telling me why you want to.

If you want to win a stack of chocolate ($57.90 worth to be exact) leave me a comment telling me how you will share that chocolate around.

Or if you want both, leave two comments - one for each!

Comments open on Thursday 1 August 2013 and will close on Sunday 4 August at 8 pm 2013. That gives me half an hour before my favourite show is on ABC at 8.30. Aussie residents only. I am the judge and will decide the winner, no tantrums afterwards.

PS: My bloggy friends also have some Stomp tickets available so enter here and here if you want to increase your chances!

  1. I'd share one piece with each person I talk to. There must be about a hundred pieces in five blocks so one for each person and then watch them fight over who got the biggest bit.

  3. I'd love the chocolate!!
I'd share with the teachers at the school that my daughters attend. They do such a great job and don't get as much recognition as they deserve.

  5. I will be greedy and ask for the Stomp tickets aswell; but I'd give them to my beautiful parents who do so much for my family.
They're pensioners so hardly ever get a night out and I know they'd love this!
Thank you for the opportunity for such great prizes!!

  6. I have been out of action so much these last few months (well 10 months really) that I have missed out on so much quality time with my kids. It would be great to have a night out together to share something special.

  7. Now I LOVE chocolate almost as much as I love my family so my first instinct is to say "Share, do I have to?" and run away and scoff the lot. Realistically, I would love to share the chocolate with all of the people who have helped me during difficult times. It could be a chance to sit down, relax and enjoy a delicious snack and great company.

  8. I would like the chocolate. And as for this sharing thing, I do not know what you are talking about.
It would be mine. All mine.

  9. We would love to try some of that chocolate for our family movie nights on Fridays. But what's really going to happen is husband and kids get to try one block while the rest is hidden in the pantry for my own emotional eating purposes.

  10. Oh, how generous you are Claire! I'd love to see stomp, but alas will be up the coast at that time. As for Cadbury carnival creations chocolate, I am there, baby! I don't get excited about chocolate, except this stuff! Clinkers and raspberry chocolate is a hit at this place. We do share as we have half the neighborhood at our place, our next door Neighbours who are also renovating, plus the mothers group that we bring food too. I'm a good sharer, even with my fave chocolate! Xx

  12. As it's third term and I am STILL struggling to make friends with the other kinder mums, I would share my chocolate at school pick up to break the ice, as you said, people love to talk about chocolate. I'm actually a bit excited. Even if I don't win, I might take a block one Friday arvo and see how it goes.

  13. Share? When it comes to chocolate I don't know the meaning of the word. :)
But if I had to... I suppose I'd share it with my husband because he always picks up chocolate for me late at night on the way home from work. And with my family because they give us so much help, even taking the baby for me when she was screaming because of teething so I could do some study. They deserve it!

  14. I'd donate the chocolate to my husband's team at work. They have a communal chocolate bowl (that hubby stocks, bless him), and they do like some weird and wacky flavours.
They're pulling some out-of-hours overtime over the next few weeks so I reckon they'd appreciate the late-night sugar hit.

  15. Every time Stomp are in town, I always say "Ooh, I want to go!" but then I can't make it on their dates or I find out about it too late and they're sold out or some other ridiculous excuse.
This time, I am available. And you've told me about it. I would love to see the combination of my two favourite things: coordination and noise! (I only have one of these in spades, and it ain't coordination)

  16. I would love the chocolates to say thank you to my mates that are helping us move house next weekend. I may have to keep one pack for myself to keep up the packing energy. :) Thanks for the giveaway!

  17. I would love the chocolate. I would share it with my extended family and keep a few blocks for my nephew's 18th in September (because all the best parties have chocolate and that's the ultimate way to share)! :)

  18. What is this 'sharing' of which you speak? I'd be quietly sneaking visits to the kitchen to hide behind the pantry doors in order to sneak squares that I share with no one.

  19. I LOVE this chocolate!!!! I'm thinking this may be a dangerous completion to enter as I'm not sure I could share it...but if...IF I was feeling generous, I may crack a block or 2 when we have visitors over to meet the baby...it will give me a break from baking! Otherwise I may snack on it during late night feeds ;-$

  21. I'd eat a piece if chocolate every time i have to tell someone ( cough mum) to turn down the freaking tv, we aren't deaf yet and Dow n the street doesn't need to hear it... I'd go through at least five blocks a night I reckon. That aside I'd take it to work - there are only three males in our entire office so if ten blocks of chocolate can't break that much female tension then I really have no hope do I?

  22. I'd love to go and see STOMP and a tuesday night is the ONLY day we can get babysitters. What a sneaky and perfect coincidence hey? Thanks if it is possible!

  23. oh stop it with the chocolate! I really don't need it and I would give it ALL away to my dear several friends who all have small babies at the moment and need the extra pick-me-up, and WHO AM I KIDDING REALLY!? Perhaps I would share some with my children, when I am not so successful at sneaking it behind their backs....

    ReplyDelete
  24. Chocolate for me thanks
I'm taking it to the park for our regular Tuesday park days - there'll be enough for the mums and we can toss the kids the one we don't like!!

  25. I adore that chocolate. A very dear friend sent me a block of chocolate in the mail lasty week and it MADE MY DAY and possibly week. If I win I will be sharing the love via aussie post!

  26. I'd love to win the chocolate. I'd share them with my two neighbours who look after our home when we're away and who look after us when we're not well. I'd also share them with my family because they'd never speak to me again if I didn't give them some chocolate love.

  27. I love Cadbury chocolate!!!!! I would keep half at home and share "some" of it with the kids, it's my birthday soon and at work we have bring in our own birthday cake. If I won, I would take in half the chocolate and be every favourite person for a while (and I wouldn't have to cook either!!!)

  28. I would love to win chocolate and share them with all the other runners includng me who participate in 5km parkrun every saturday in highlands.Would be a perfect treat for everyone who crosses the finish line.

  29. Share? Do others actually share Cadbury's? You are mightier folk than I :)

Seriously though, I think it's fate I am reading this post now, considering the intense longing I currently have for a block of Cadbury's - I literally just finished lamenting to the husband it was all I could think of!

I've been trying to be "good" and go without my number 1 vice all week but the cracks are starting to widen. I'm 5 minutes away from an emergency dash to the nearest service station to get me a fix, so imagine the perpetual state of "joyville" I'd be in with a mega supply such as this - it would indeed be the impetus to make me want to share!

  30. Hmm maybe share... or hide in the pantry and eat it during witching hour...

I love this Cadbury range - The Green one, Clinkers, Raspberry Chips & Marshmallow is my favourite :)

  31. Mmmmmmm chocolate. It is one of those 'go to' things when the chips are down or when life is throwing all sorts of challenges at you. Kind of comforting like cups of tea and amazing girlfriends. So I would call a girls night and share the chocolate with my fabulous mums group. We have each had challenges thrown at us this year and a night in to talk, cry and laugh - with lots of chocolate - will surely do the trick

  32. Would love to enter for the Cadbury Chocolate please! We are holding a fundraising Trivia night for our school playground - I would add the chocolate to our Family Fun Package in our raffle. Fun chocolate to go with tickets to a fun park - sounds like a little piece of heaven!

  33. Id share it with all the charity runners at the City to Surf next Sunday. People who have committed to raising minimum of $1000 for many different charities and who will need a boost after running 14km.
I can tell them apart because we have gold running bibs.

  34. The chocolate would be great to share with people at work meetings that go late after work. I would also take a block or two to the staff at my creche and some to the teachers at my child's school and then I would serve a block with coffee for friends that drop in and if there was still some left I would keep that as treats for the family.

    Melissa (will PM my address.
