That is what they refer to as learning the hard way!

Question is, if the stuff is past the used by date and was all you had, would you still be better to use it than not? Mmm, I don't know - these are the questions that consume my head some days! I am thankful though I don't have to resort to bonjela- those days of grizzling teething are long gone. Can heartily endorse the pyjama day, which is essentially 'I will watch DVDs with my favourite toys and have mummy wait on me' this is enjoyed by kids of all ages from 5 to 45!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3615960162747995029.post-20039809819966034602013-05-30T22:33:50.155+10:002013-05-30T22:33:50.155+10:00I do now! So, being the Good Mother who didn't want to poison my kids, did the massive clean out, chucked everything that was past it and wrote myself a shopping list.

Probably two nights later, Big Kid gets the plague of epic proportions, which turns into croup, I have absolutely NOTHING in the house that remotely resembles anything of use, and not only that, I'm the only adult at home!

Ambulance trip and a night in hospital and I now keep *everything* suitably stocked up!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17905751300935599107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3615960162747995029.post-43681118261492122522013-05-30T17:21:43.058+10:002013-05-30T17:21:43.058+10:00Oh yes, and some garlic thrown in regularly too!Oh yes, and some garlic thrown in regularly too!Claireyhewitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04848058653374768316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3615960162747995029.post-40291859504936491952013-05-30T17:21:24.694+10:002013-05-30T17:21:24.694+10:00I have done the same! I keep a bottle at each of the Grannies houses too as you just never know when you will need it and they are both in the country. Once I used to keep a bottle in the car, but I am not so paranoid these days!Claireyhewitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04848058653374768316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3615960162747995029.post-74549897183118962002013-05-30T16:38:36.989+10:002013-05-30T16:38:36.989+10:00I complete agree with you, the moment I have run o...I complete agree with you, the moment I have run out of pain relief - fever hits! Last time I went to the chemist I had to explain that I was stocking up for winter - for my house and both grandmas (I can't let them spend so much of kids medicine - buying their own is enough) I certainly got some weird looks for other people in the chemist that day - hope Immy feels better soon - love the idea of pyjama day - bliss xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08678887867911889293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3615960162747995029.post-72553646374931294872013-05-30T16:37:06.183+10:002013-05-30T16:37:06.183+10:00We have the basics on hand.
